Welcome back again to one of the best reporters on sports at slippery rock university. With that being said lets talks intamural sports. Picthes be Trippin were 2 and 0 before lasts night double header. They seemed to face two very tough oppennets as they only had a combined score of 12 after the twwo games they played. Now this was unsual to see as the first game the team played they were able to drop 20 points on a team yet they can't seem to crack 10 now. Yet in the first game they were down 2 after the first inning just like what happened agaisnt their second oppenent the North Hall Hunters. Yet they found a rythm, kept it going, and were able to defend well. The turnout of the game happened to be 6-4 as Picthes be Trippin won their 3rd game in a row. Then after a short break they headed into the second game of the double header. They were facing BYE WEEK as they also happened to be 3-0 when play Pitches be Trippin and so one team was going home undeafted and one was not. BYE WEEK went up early but struggled to find an answer on defense when Pitches be Trippin was finding their way on offense. The game actually ended up being tied after 7 innings, so extra innings had to be played then after no runs scored in the 8th both teams headed into the 9th for the final inning. After a cluth hit by Brayden Fry, Pitches be Trippin was able to put a two run lead up. Then after an incredible defensive inning they were able to hold them to zero runs scored and the final score being 6-4 again. Next post will be about the Wolfpack soccer team a truly intresing set of soccer players to say the least.
